MOSCOW, Jun 28 (PRIME) -- No decisions have been made on the windfall profit tax, and the Kremlin is not discussing a restart of its imposition, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
"No such decisions were made, and in this case, I would recommend asking the government or experts, no such discussion is being held here," Peskov said.
Deputy Finance Minister Alexei Sazanov told PRIME earlier that Russia could hypothetically return to the windfall profit tax if there is a wide budget deficit and an excessive corporate profit.
